ConvenientCare is an acute care clinic for evaluating and treating minor or short-term illnesses and injuries that develop outside of regular clinic hours.

ConvenientCare offers care for ailments such as:

  • Sore throats
  • Earaches
  • Colds
  • Twisted ankles
  • Cuts and bruises
  • Strains and sprains
  • Simple breaks

The Yankton Medical Clinic Pharmacy is open during ConvenientCare hours to serve your prescription needs.

ConvenientCare is staffed with mid-level providers, such as physician assistants and certified nurse practitioners. Our mid-level providers offer excellent care and help us meet the needs of our patients.

ConvenientCare should not take the place of establishing a relationship with a primary care physician who provides continuity of care through healthcare screenings, complex diseases, immunizations, general physicals and renewal of medication prescriptions.

A patient’s provider documents all patient records from ConvenientCare in our electronic health system for convenient, easy access. You also have access to your records through the patient portal.

If you need to establish care with a primary care physician, call our Yankton office at 605-665-7841 or Vermillion 605-624-8643. You can also find a physician here.

Please call ahead if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms:
